We are all made of stardust.
It's not a fanciful phrase - although it does sound magical.
It's a scientific fact. When stars "go supernova" or explode, they create elements, like carbon and magnesium. Nearly all the elements that make up our physical bodies were formed in a star and many have been through several supernovas.
Think about the unbelievable probability of the Universe aligning everything so perfectly that billions of years of exploding stars has resulted in you, floating on this beautiful Earth through this glorious moment in space and time.
You, full of the sheer power and sparkle of all the stars in the sky.
It is no coincidence. It is written in the stars.
It is also no coincidence that today marks the beginning of Gemini season - a season of communication and curiosity. As a Gemini sun myself, I've always searched for the "meaning of life". I desired to understand the mystery of it all, or at least find a couple of clues along the way. In my scavenger hunt of spirituality, I discovered astrology. Now you can travel down a rabbit hole of astrological meanings so deep, you may never need to research another topic again. I would consider myself still wading in the shallower pools at this moment, but the water's warm, and I'm loving every second of it. I love being able to make sense of things, thanks to the planets that rotate around in our solar system. It makes experiences here on Earth feel less personal - it's simply due to the current placements. The most common example of this is when people blame bad things on Mercury retrograde. I'm not saying we should use astrology as a scapegoat, rather use it as a tool for navigating your best life. One of my favorite astrologers to learn from is Chani Nicholas - her app CHANI is super useful for those looking to learn more.
When Evann and I were little girls, we each had a separate bedroom, but we would sleep in the same bed every night anyway. So our parents decided to turn the spare bedroom into a playroom. Our dad painted the sun, our mom painted the moon, and they painstakingly glued each glow-in-the-dark star to the ceiling together. They wanted to show us how much they loved us - so they brought us the whole sky. They filled our childhood with magic we still cherish to this day. We're always learning from our inner children - giving them the space to follow their joy. Life can truly be about just that. Unlearn everything else society has taught you, go back to the Self you were when you first got here, and live from that place of authenticity, of knowing.

This is why we call ourselves Sun, Moon & Stars Wellness - to remember the light that guides us, ever upward. The light that illuminates each step on our journey home. The light that fills us with faith, hope and divine love.
